A TIME AND A PLACE...
In Breitling’s corporate memory, the name Montbrillant brings to mind a very special time and place: the days of its first full-fledged chronograph factory, perched on a sun-drenched hillside overlooking the town of La Chaux-de-Fonds. It was here that the Breitling family’s finest developments were born: the second, return-to-zero pushpiece, the most important of all; and in 1942, the circular slide rule, the most famous. The Montbrillant spirit lives on today in a line of outstanding mechanical chronographs that reflect both the styling and the manufacturing techniques of the period. From its convex crystal and dial made in the traditional manner to its classic circular slide rule, the decades have turned the Montbrillant into a true signature product.
