Audemars Piguet has created the Ladies' Jules Audemars Tourbillon, Ref. 26084, the latest addition to the manufacture's collection of complicated timepieces.
The Ladies' Jules Audemars Tourbillon is available in an 18k pink (Ref. 26084OR) or white gold (Ref. 26084BC), satin-brushed and polished case. The white mother of pearl dial is hand-engraved with a "spiral" flinqué motif. The applied 18k gold Roman numerals are accented with diamond hour markers. The polished hands are 18k pink or white gold. The case is 39mm in diameter and set with an antiglare, sapphire crystal. The bezel is embellished with 56 Top Wesselton, internally flawless, brilliant-cut diamonds (approximately 1.15 ctw). The jewelled crown is set with a cabochon-cut sapphire (approximately 0.25 carat). The distinctive feature of this dial is the tourbillon housed within its mobile carriage at 6 o'clock.
The calibre 2906 is a 19-jewel hand-wound, mechanical movement with a tourbillon complication, 78-hour power reserve and beats at 21,600 vph. The hand-finished movement contains 197 parts and is 30mm in diameter and 6.10mm thick; the caging diameter is 13 lignes (or 29.40mm).
The sapphire caseback reveals that the mainplate is bevelled and circular-grained and the two bridges are hand-engraved with "dancing spiral" motifs that compliments the dial patterns.
Each timepiece is fitted with a glossy, rolled-edge, hand-sewn white or violet crocodile strap. The strap is fitted with an AP double-blade folding clasp in 18k pink or white gold that is polished and embellished with 28 Top Wesselton IF, brilliant cut diamonds (approximately 0.38 carats).
Each timepiece is presented in a precious wood, leather-lined box and is accompanied with a certificate stating the number, the quality and the weight of the precious stones.
