The new Masterpiece Flyback Aviator by Maurice Lacroix is an advancement of the Flyback Annuaire model.
The flyback function replaces three actions with just one push of a button. The so-called “retour-en-vol” technology enables the chronograph hand to jump back to its starting position and then carry on timing. This permanent zeroing proves invaluable in aviation because it allows a new point of destination to be calculated with virtually no delay.
The Masterpiece Flyback Aviator features the automatic caliber ML 15, the most complex movement of Maurice Lacroix. It has 49 jewels with blued steel screws, Incabloc shock protection, polished steel pallet and escapement wheel, a Glucydur balance, a Nivarox-1 balance spring, a Nivaflex-1 main spring, and a skeletonized rotor. Functions include a chronograph with flyback function, 30-minute and 12-hour counter, one-year calendar with month display and large date display, and small seconds.
The stainless steel case measures 42mm and is water resistant to 100 meters. It has double AR coated sapphire crystals. Dials, made of solid sterling silver, can be had in black or silver.
Starps are croco leather or rubber with folding clasp.
