回复 | 4#JLC升级的代价是GP降级. 可怜的GP, 其实还是满有地位的, 但是好象不太主流... 这和近年来没有太多新手笔有关系, 弄来弄去要么三金桥, 要么1945, 那个三金桥什么形状的表都要来一下, 什么功能都要来一下, 反而让大家觉得GP没有新招数, 加上这两年被法拉利抛弃, 更加是雪上加霜, 给名誉减分.
和JLC相比, GP是挺感性的, 如何再上一层楼呢? -
回复 | 5#JLC is a very powerful and innovative manufacture. It deserves to be here if Franck Muller and Ulysee Nardin are qualified.
In my very personal opinion, Piaget and IWC are more qualified as top watchmakers than Franck Muller in almost any regard. -

Even in the same group, different brands have different positioning strategy.
For example, within Richemont:
Lange>VC>JLC -

In terms of watch-making innovation: JLC is the best among these three.
In terms of social recognition: IWC is maybe the most recognized.
In terms of exclusivity: Piaget exceeds the other two.
JLC and IWC are brothers, while Piaget has a significantly different target group. -

I guess you can own both. IWC is the most famous German style watch brand in Switzerland while JLC has typical Le Sentier/Swiss style. JLC is called little Patek Philippe -

回复 | 20#IWC的风格是实用坚固, 奢侈品味不够. 而且从机心角度看一来大量用ETA, 二来打磨工艺一般, 无论如何升不上去. JLC升上去也很勉强, 其实JLC的定位是被RICHEMONT当成集团的机心供应商, 为VC等做嫁衣, JLC除了个别产品, 大多数系列都只能算二流产品(从工艺精细度和价格上来看)
