The 1815 line is the German equivalent of the the Swiss Calatrava line.

If you are not so much excited on the Patek 3919 way of understatement, the Lange 1815 is maybe the best choice of a formal dress watch.

I compared 3919 and 1815 with right and left wrists, I have to say that I loved both. 1815 is of course more attractive to me due to its extremely well-finished movement, dial design and weight (another criterion for quality). Besides, the leather band on the 1815 is also very well made. Although 1815's smaller size compared to its big brothers such as Lange 1 and Langematik, it is still very masculine.
